KhalilAhmed is a multi-talented personality.He is a poet,essayist and social thinker.His world of thought about his country and nation,
Even though he is in exile,his mind is always on his home land.therefore,in thought and action, he is like a great soul of his homeland. He has deep understanding of contemporary society,culture,literature-education and history-tradition.It’s reflected in his creation.KhalilAhmed was born on 15thJune in 1964 in the family of Jahir pur village of Jagannathpur upazila of sunamGonj district.Grandfather late Haji Abdul Gafur Talukder was a pious personality and he was proficient in Bengali,Urdu,Persian,nagri ,languages.His father name is late Intazmiah(Abdul Hashem)and mother name is late Haji mofizun nessa.
He is permanently living in uk since 1989. from uk he is practicing his literature and culture.In these he finds the joy of his life.In poetry(poems),stories or essays ,he expresses his compassion for the country with craftsmanship.
KhalilAhmed’s educational career started in 1971 from Asharkhandi Zakir Muhammad primary school of Jagannathpur upazila.later he enrolled in the local nayabander high school and studied upto class 10 and passed the s.s.c from Boaljurbazar high school in 1981with merit. Later he passed the H SC in 1984 from mc (government college)college ,sylhet.After in 1986 he received B.A.degree from sylhet Government College,sylhet.
After that he moved to USA while studying M.S.S(department of International Relations)from Dhaka University. He left mark of merit in every step of his educational life .In his career,he went to England from USA in 1989 and after studying in uk he involved in Restaurant business with his brother.currently he is living in uk with his family.
KhalilAhmed’s writing started from his school life.He used to write for various periodicals and magazines.Currently he is quite active in online media.However,his published writings were not published in books.But his poetry book Bharnamalar Bangladesh published in 1982.
Bharnamalar Bangladesh is first book of poetry.This poem is a sign of immense love for the mother land.KhalilAhmed has written on various topics in his poetry book ,Bharnamalar Bangladesh .love,nature,pain, and patriotism are prominent in his poetry.Biological singularity propelled his poetry. The words stored in the mind have become alive in the fruits of emotions.
Shahid minar is like a living soul in his poetry.In the poem Shaid minar ,he wrote—- thumar shrithi rakhtajaba /choker joley thumai akha ,
Thumarshrithi hasnahena/
Dibalukhey jai na dheka.
KhalilAhmed loves the country with infinite compassion.He feels the love of the country with his heart.
It’s expressed in his poetry.In poems ‘Aparuptumi’ he wrote—A  thousand artists have painted around you,they have written a picture (drawing pictures)/poem written by the poet of my country who longs for me/ this is my life,I will love you endlessly. 21 st February  is the source of our national consciousness.

. 21 st February  inspire us to protect our rights and individuality.The poet also realised Ekush in uniqueness.
In the poem’ Ekush elo ‘he wrote—-Ekush elo,
Fagun’s self-inflicted branches of the black cherry tree,
The red horizon in the eastern sky smeared with blood.
My brother’s blood dyed red around circle/ Ekush elo mother’s independ 21st February  / Bharnna mala’s struggle to develop Bengal’s existence and consciousness Where are we? Who are we? Thus KhalilAhmed’s poetry has become alive with religious philosophy and various material ideas.He emerged as a poet through the poetry ‘ Barnna malar Bangla desh .every poem in the book is heart touching. As if the poem are arranged in the link of heart.Hopefully ,
each poem will touch the heart of the reader.I wish the author’s overall well-being and the books wide spread.
